1Introduction
Welcome to Zazu. Thank you for choosing our platform. These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") define the rights and obligations of Zazu and its customers in connection with the services offered through zazu.video (the "Platform").
Zazu is an AI-powered platform that helps you transform long-form videos into short, shareable clips. Through the Platform, you can:
- Upload videos directly from your device
- Paste a video URL from supported third-party platforms to import content
- Generate AI-powered short clips automatically from longer videos
- Edit and customise clips using our built-in editor
- Apply different styles, layouts, and visual presets
- Add custom prompts to guide AI clip generation
- Export and download finished clips for use elsewhere
By creating an account or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer, all of which are available at zazu.video. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2Your Service Provider
The entity providing the Services is Farfetched Media Labs Pvt Ltd, a company organised under the laws of India.

Referred to as "Zazu," "we," "us," or "our" throughout this Agreement.

| Subscription / Access Plan | The right to access and use the Platform granted to the Customer in exchange for payment of the applicable fee. |
| User | Any individual accessing the Platform on behalf of the Customer. |
| User Content | All Content uploaded, imported, or generated by the Customer or User through the Platform. |
| Zazu | Farfetched Media Labs Pvt Ltd, the company operating the Platform. |
4Applicable Terms
This Agreement consists of:
- The provisions of this document
- The Zazu Privacy Policy
- The Zazu Disclaimer
- Any additional terms, policies, or conditions that apply to specific features ("Additional Terms")
Where Additional Terms apply, they are incorporated by reference. In the event of a conflict, Additional Terms take precedence over these Terms for the specific feature or service to which they apply. These Terms take precedence over all other documents, including any purchase conditions of the Customer.
5Who May Use the Platform
5.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Platform. If you are between 16 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Platform and that they have read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, contact us at [email protected] immediately.
5.2 Business Use
If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company, organisation, or other legal entity, you represent that:
- You have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms
- The entity accepts these Terms in full
- You will not share your account credentials with anyone outside your authorised organisation
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your credentials
5.3 Country Restrictions
You may not use the Platform if you are located in, or are a national or resident of, any country or jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions or where your use of the Platform would be illegal under applicable law.
6Your Zazu Account
6.1 Account Creation
To access the Platform, you must create a personal account. Each User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Account sharing with other individuals is strictly prohibited. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Promptly update your information if it changes
- Not provide a false name or impersonate another person
- Not create an account on behalf of someone else without their authorisation
- Not transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password at all times
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
6.2 Third-Party Sign-In
You may sign in using third-party authentication providers such as Google, Apple, or Microsoft. By doing so, you authorise us to access certain information from those accounts as permitted by the provider and your privacy settings. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
6.3 Account Security
We strongly recommend that you use a strong, unique password and enable multi-factor authentication where available. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. We may access your account when necessary to provide support, troubleshoot issues, or comply with legal obligations.
6.4 Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive service-essential communications such as billing notifications, security alerts, subscription confirmations, password resets, and important policy updates. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. Any future marketing communications will include an unsubscribe option, and you may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or emailing [email protected].
7Subscription and Formation of the Agreement
7.1 Subscription Process
The Customer may purchase access to the Platform by selecting an available subscription plan or one-time access plan. The process includes:
- Plan selection: display of the selected plan, duration, and price including applicable taxes
- Acceptance of Terms: the Customer ticks a dedicated box confirming they have read and accepted these Terms
- Final validation: the Customer confirms their subscription and provides payment details on our payment provider's page — this confirmation constitutes an electronic signature binding on the Customer
An invoice is issued after validation and made available in the customer portal. It serves as proof of the transaction.
7.2 One-Time Purchases
Where Zazu offers one-time purchases or lifetime access plans, such purchases grant a perpetual, non-transferable licence to the specific plan or feature purchased, subject to compliance with these Terms. One-time purchases do not auto-renew and no recurring charges will be made following the initial payment. One-time purchases are subject to the refund policy set out in Section 8.6.
8Price, Billing and Payment Terms
8.1 Pricing
Subscription fees are displayed on our pricing page at zazu.video/pricing. All amounts are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for paying all applicable government-imposed charges.
8.2 Payment Processors
Zazu uses the following authorised payment processors. Your payment processor at checkout is determined by your region:

Zazu does not store your full card number, CVV, or complete payment credentials on its own servers. Your payment data is handled by the applicable payment processor in accordance with their respective privacy policies and PCI-DSS certification standards.
8.3 Recurring Billing
This Section applies only to recurring subscription plans and does not apply to one-time purchases or lifetime access plans.
8.4 Current Information Required
8.5 Auto-Renewal
Unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period, your plan will automatically renew at the then-current rate. To cancel, go to Settings → Billing → Cancel plan or contact [email protected]. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current paid period. One-time purchases are not subject to auto-renewal.
8.6 Price Changes
We may modify Subscription fees at any time with reasonable prior notice. Any price change will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your continued use of the Platform after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new fee. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
8.7 Refund Policy
Zazu offers a 30-day refund policy on eligible purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Services, you may request a full refund within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of your initial purchase or most recent renewal. To request a refund, contact our support team at [email protected] with your account email address, transaction reference, and a brief description of your reason for requesting a refund. We will process eligible refund requests within ten (10) business days. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
8.8 Late Payments
If a payment fails or is overdue, we may suspend access to the Platform. Any amount not paid on time may bear interest at the applicable statutory rate plus applicable collection costs as permitted by law.
9Right of Withdrawal and Consumer Mediation
The refund policy applicable to all Customers, including the 30-day refund window, is set out in full in Section 8.7 above.
Consumer Mediation (EU): If you are an EU consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you have the right to refer your dispute free of charge to an independent consumer mediator. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10Access to the Platform
Access to the Platform is provided by the Customer using their own equipment and internet connection, at their own responsibility. The Platform is provided on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) basis via secure, authenticated access.
10.1 Availability
The Platform is intended to be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we aim to provide at least 5 business days' notice for planned maintenance)
- Emergency maintenance and unscheduled technical issues
- AI infrastructure outages or third-party service failures
- Force majeure events or causes beyond our reasonable control
10.2 Modifications to the Platform
We continuously improve and update the Platform. We may add or remove features, change functionality, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We will try to provide reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect you. We are not liable for any consequences arising from modifications made to comply with law, improve security, or prevent abuse.
10.3 Third-Party Dependencies
The Platform relies on third-party providers including cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, and video hosting platforms. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or limitations caused by those third parties. If a third-party platform restricts our ability to fetch content from a URL you import, we may be unable to process that import.
11Customer Obligations
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide complete and accurate information when creating an account or placing an order, and promptly update this information if it changes
- Use the Platform in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws
- Use the Platform in compliance with the Content rules (Section 13) and Prohibited Uses (Section 14)
- Ensure that all Users authorised to access the Platform under their account comply with these Terms
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of login credentials and promptly notify us of any security breach
12Licence of Use
Subject to payment of the applicable Subscription fee and your compliance with these Terms, Zazu grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for the purpose of creating, editing, and exporting video clips for your own use or, if on a paid plan, commercial use.
Under this licence, the Customer agrees not to:
- Adapt, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying models, algorithms, or ideas of the Platform
- Extract or reuse a substantial portion of the Platform's databases
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform software
- Use outputs from the Platform to develop models or products that compete with Zazu
- Buy, sell, or transfer API keys, accounts, or access credentials without our prior written consent
- Infringe Zazu's intellectual property rights
13User Content and Conduct
13.1 Your Content
The Platform allows you to upload, import, store, and process Content. You are solely responsible for all Content you submit, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. You represent and warrant that:
- The Content is yours or you have all necessary rights, licences, permissions, and consents to upload, import, and use it through the Platform
- Your Content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy right, publicity right, or other intellectual property right
- For videos imported via URL, you have the legal right to use that content under the source platform's terms of service and applicable copyright law
- Your Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
13.2 Licence You Grant to Zazu
You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Zazu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (only to our service providers and sub-processors) licence to host, store, transmit, process, transcode, display, and modify your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. This licence does not allow Zazu to use your private User Content for marketing, promotion, or AI model training.
13.3 AI-Generated Outputs
You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs (clips, captions, transcripts, summaries) are produced by probabilistic models and may contain inaccuracies or unexpected results. Identical or similar outputs may be generated for different users. You assume full responsibility for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI outputs before publishing or relying on them. Subject to compliance with these Terms, you own the AI outputs generated from your User Content to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
13.4 Removing Your Content
You may delete your User Content from the Platform at any time through your account settings. We recommend downloading any content you wish to keep before deletion. After deletion from production systems, content may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently removed.
13.5 Removal by Zazu
We reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict access to any User Content at any time, with or without notice, if we believe in good faith that the content violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, violates applicable law, or poses a risk to Zazu, our users, or the public.
14Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Platform in any manner that:
14.1 Illegal or Harmful Conduct
- Violates any applicable national or international law or regulation
- Is dangerous, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group
- Exploits or harms minors in any way
14.2 Content Violations
You will not upload, import, generate, or distribute Content that:
- Infringes any third-party copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy right, publicity right, or other intellectual property right
- Contains child sexual abuse material or content that sexualises minors
- Contains pornographic or sexually explicit material
- Depicts unlawful acts, extreme violence, gore, or animal cruelty
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities
- Contains malware, viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or any other malicious material
- Constitutes spam, unsolicited advertising, or mass solicitations
- Promotes fraudulent schemes, MLM schemes, gambling, or get-rich-quick ventures
14.3 Misuse of AI and Likeness (Publicity Rights)
You will not use the Platform to:
- Create, distribute, or facilitate deepfakes or any synthetic media that falsely depicts any real person without their explicit consent
- Publish, perform, distribute, or transmit any individual's voice or likeness knowing that use was without proper authorisation
- Use AI features to impersonate, defraud, or deceive others
- Create non-consensual intimate imagery of any person
- Generate content for election interference, disinformation, or political manipulation
- Train competing AI models using the Platform's outputs
14.4 Technical Misuse
- Scrape, crawl, spider, or use automated means to access the Platform without our written permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying components of the Platform
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or access controls
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to manipulate metrics or generate fake usage
- Place excessive load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of the Platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or any connected server or database
- Attack the Platform via a denial-of-service (DoS or DDoS) attack
- Collect or harvest information that might identify other users
14.5 Account Abuse
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, bans, or restrictions
- Misuse reporting, flagging, complaint, dispute, or appeals processes
- Jeopardise the security of your account or any other user's account
15Intellectual Property
15.1 Zazu's Intellectual Property
The Platform and all related software, designs, logos, trademarks, branding, documentation, templates, styles, presets, and other materials provided by Zazu (excluding User Content) are the exclusive property of Zazu and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use Zazu's trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.
15.2 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or improvement requests about the Platform ("Feedback"), you grant Zazu a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, modify, and incorporate that Feedback into our products and services without any obligation to you.
15.3 Copyright Infringement — Notice and Takedown
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- The URL or other specific location of the allegedly infringing material on the Platform
- Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

15.4 Business Reference
Zazu may use the Customer's name as a business reference unless the Customer requests otherwise in writing by contacting [email protected].
16Suspension and Termination
16.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the Services and cancel your Subscription at any time. To delete your account, go to Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account in the application. We recommend exporting any content you wish to keep before initiating account deletion.
16.2 Termination by Zazu
Zazu may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:
- A serious breach of these Terms that has not been remedied within 30 days of written notice from Zazu
- Failure to pay Subscription fees after a 48-hour formal notice
- Any violation of the Prohibited Uses in Section 14
- Any infringement of Zazu's intellectual property rights
- Any conduct that is detrimental to Zazu or other users
- A legal or regulatory requirement to do so
- Extended account inactivity
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination or expiry of your plan:
- Your right to access and use the Platform ends immediately.
- You will no longer have access to any content stored on the Platform.
- You remain responsible for any outstanding fees or obligations incurred prior to termination.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property rights, liability limitations, indemnification, confidentiality, and dispute resolution.
16.4 Account Recovery
If you delete your account by mistake, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that deleted accounts or content can be recovered.
16.5 Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, riots, wars, epidemics, floods, fires, earthquakes, internet outages, AI infrastructure failures, government actions, or other force majeure events. If the force majeure event continues for more than 90 days, either party may terminate the Agreement without compensation.
17Data Portability and Return
Upon expiry or termination of the Agreement, the Customer may request, with thirty (30) days' notice, that Zazu return their Content in a standard machine-readable format. If no such request is made within sixty (60) days following expiry or termination, Zazu may destroy the Customer's data across all environments and servers, unless retention is required by applicable law.
18Confidentiality
The Agreement and all information exchanged between the Parties in connection with the Services are considered confidential. Each Party undertakes to protect the other Party's confidential information and not to disclose it without prior written authorisation. These obligations apply throughout the term of the Agreement and for three (3) years following its termination.
Email exchanges and exchanges via the Platform are agreed to constitute valid written evidence in the event of a dispute.
19Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, or services. Zazu has no control over those third parties and assumes no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. Your use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
Video URL imports: When you paste a video URL from a third-party platform, you are responsible for compliance with that platform's terms of service and applicable copyright law. Zazu is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party video platform. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or legality of third-party content.
20Warranty Disclaimer
AI-generated outputs are produced by machine learning models that may contain errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or biased results. Zazu does not warrant that outputs are original, accurate, compliant with any legal standard, or suitable for commercial use without review. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it.
21Limitation of Liability
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. To the extent applicable law does not permit such exclusions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any claim arising out of or related to the Platform must be submitted within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, except where prohibited by applicable law.
22Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zazu and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms or any Additional Terms
- Your User Content, including any infringement of third-party rights
- Your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Any unauthorised use of your account
23Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
23.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and all other applicable Indian laws and regulations, without regard to conflict of law principles.
23.2 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution. Most disputes can be resolved this way.
23.3 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kota, India. Consumer customers retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of domicile in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
23.4 EU Consumer Mediation
If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr for cross-border disputes.
23.5 Equitable Relief
Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent or stop the actual or threatened infringement of its intellectual property rights.
24Assignment
The Agreement may not be transferred in whole or in part by the Customer without Zazu's express prior written consent. Zazu reserves the right to use sub-contractors of its choice and to assign this Agreement without formality, subject to informing the Customer in advance. Zazu may transfer, assign, or delegate this Agreement and our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets.
25Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or business operations. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you by email or through the Platform with reasonable prior notice. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before changes take effect. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
26General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and any Additional Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zazu regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights, except as expressly stated.
Notices: We may provide notices via email, in-app messages, or postings on our website.
